2 Yemeni soldiers killed, wounded in robbery on banks

One soldier was killed and another wounded in an attack by suspected robbers on two banks in the country’s troubled southeastern province of Hadhramaut on Tuesday.
Sources said about 25 gunmen in three cars with heavy and medium weapons attacked the banks and seized 52 million Yemeni riyals after they killed the guard and wounded another one.
On Monday, two Yemeni soldiers were killed and nearly a dozen others injured in an al-Qaeda-linked militant attack in Hadhramaut.
