Luxor security forces arrested on Sunday a cell comprising 20 terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group, a security source who declined to be named said.
They are charged with staging and partaking in illegal protests and carrying out acts of sabotage in the governorate, the source added.
The MB cell members were referred to the prosecution for interrogation.
In a related context, medical source with Luxor International Hospital said the terrorist, who was injured in the failed Karnak Temple attack in June, was recovering.
The terrorist is expected to be moved to a hospital inside a prison in the governorate, the medical source noted.
