
As many as 224 Egyptians arrived at Cairo airport Tuesday coming from Tunisia where they had crossed from war-torn Libya.
The Egyptians returned home on an EgyptAir flight that had taken off to bring them back from Tunisia, a source at the airport said.
Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal has ordered to ease arrival procedures for Egyptians returning home from Libya.
Indeed, airport police have decided to receive Egyptians returning from Libya via Tunisia at Hall 2 of Terminal I, the source said, adding that a security team is crosschecking their identities.
The Aviation Ministry and the Foreign Ministry are following up the conditions of Egyptians wishing to return home from Libya, the source added.
