
Sappers have dismantled a 250-kilogram bomb planted at the main oil pipeline between el Serir and Tobrok fields, Brig. Rajab el Awami from the Libyan explosives engineering department said Monday.
The department was informed of a foreign body near the main oil pipeline beween el Serir and Tobrok, around 2 kilometers south of the scene of the fire that erupted in the main pipeline at dawn Sunday, he said.
A 250-kilogram air missile bomb was attached to the pipeline and was dismantled by sappers successfully, he added.
