
The Interior Ministry, in coordination with security directorates and central security forces, continued wide-scale campaigns nationwide to arrest outlaws and restore stability to the Egyptian street.
Police forces arrested 3 gangs and seized 101 weapons and 3 stolen cars in campaigns across the nation over the past 24 hours.
The seized arms include machine guns, pistols, locally-made rifles and light weapons.
The security campaigns also led to the arrest of 86 wanted criminals.
All legal measures were taken against the arrestees. The Public Prosecution was notified to launch an investigation.
