Three Libyan nationals who were held in Italy have denied terror accusations leveled by the Italian authorities against them, defense lawyer for the three detainees Enrique Romagnoli said on Thursday.
In a statement, Romagnoli said the three Libyan nationals are not terrorists and working in the field of auto trade.
The Italian police have nabbed them under the pretext that they trade in stolen cars, he added.
They have been rounded up upon their arrival at the port of Genoa coming from Tunisia.
The Italian prosecution has issued arrest warrant against the three Libyans, claiming that they own unlicensed cars and store pictures of weapons and video footage of Daesh militants in their cellphones as well as possessing other documents being checked by the Judicial bodies.
