
The public security sector in the Interior Ministry, in coordination with the security directorates and central security forces, resumed its campaigns to combat thuggery, restore security in the street and arrest the outlaws as well as owners of unlicensed weapons.
The campaigns launched, upon directives by Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, resulted in seizing 113 unlicensed weapons as well as 215 cold weapons.
It also resulted in raiding a workshop for manufacturing weapons, arresting members of two gangs and 139 fugitives over the past 24 hours.
