Bahrain's High Criminal Court sentenced on Wednesday four defendants to life imprisonment for possessing explosive materials to carry out terror attacks in the country.
Also, two other accomplices have received various jail sentences in the same case, Head of the Terrorist Crimes Prosecution, Attorney General Ahmad al Hammadi said.
The defendants were rounded up after Bahrain's police have found out that they placed an explosive device close to a mosque in Muharraq governorate to target policemen.
This terror plot was made with the aim of endangering the country's security and scaring citizens.
