
Israeli military aircraft attacked a residential building in Al-Sabra in southern Gaza on Friday wounding at least 40 Palestinians, according to medical sources.
A large number of the wounded were children and women, the sources said, indicating that relief teams were sifting through rubble of the devastated building in search for victims.
The Palestinian sources reported a series of other air strikes on several locations in the besieged strip, indicating that at least two Palestinians were injured in these attacks.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahar, a politburo member of the Islamic movement, Hamas. said in a statement that Hamas and the other Palestinian factions would rebuff any international resolution intended to disarm the groups and maintain the Israeli siege of Gaza.
