6 Brotherhood members arrested during security campaign

Alexandria Security Directorate arrested Thursday six members of the terrorist Brotherhood group during a security campaign launched by the central security forces and national security officers.

The campaign targeted a number of members of the terrorist Brotherhood group and resulted in the arrest of two members wanted for staging protests and igniting violence, said Assistant Interior Minister for Alexandria security Mohamed el Sharqawi in a press release Thursday.

The campaign also arrested three people for creating a page on social networking website "Facebook", to call for blocking roads, railways, staging protests and committing violent acts against state institutions and policemen and army officers.
