
Minister of Mujahideen Tayeb Zitouni, said Monday in Algiers the public authorities take a special interest in the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Revolution 1st of November 1954 through programs to match this event which will be celebrated under the slogan "freedom of November."
"This great national event deserves a special interest through involving all fringes of society in the festivities, "the minister stated at a press conference devoted to the presentation of the program of the festivities.
After noting that these commemorative festivities are "a national event par excellence celebration whose celebration will continue until November 2015," Zitouni said the Algerian state" takes particular interest in this event in order to extend the festivities nationwide, in accordance with the instructions of President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika."
As for the program of events, Zitouni said it will be marked by "a number of activities and events to raise this event to a level that reflects the concern of leaders to allocate loyalty to the martyrs of the Revolution and enhance the historical legacy of the generation of November. "
The program of events outlined by the national commission in charge of the preparation of national holidays includes historical and cultural activities, arts and sports events in addition to competitions, tributes and exhibitions nationwide.
