Aden's Governor Naif al Bakry announced that 70 Yemenis were killed during the military attack carried out by the forces loyal to the former Yemeni president and Houthis in Aden, adding that 400 persons were wounded.
The official's remark came during his visit to a number of hospitals in Aden on Tuesday.
Al Bakry said that the forces of the Houthis raided houses and killed civilians.
He called on the Gulf countries to receive the wounded especially those in critical condition, because Aden's Hospital can no more receive the injured.
The foreign physicians and the nursing staff departed due to the deteriorating security conditions in Aden.
