Seventy one suspects and 39 fugitives were arrested in a wide-scale security campaign in North Sinai, a security source said on Wednesday.
They were referred to the bodies concerned to take legal procedures against them, he added.
The 71 suspects are being interrogated, he said, noting the fugitives are wanted over various cases.
