
As many as 1,844 Egyptian workers at Gulf countries arrived at Nuweiba port from March 6 till March 9.
Some 7,290 Egyptian workers left the port during this time. In statements Saturday, Spokesman for the Red Sea Port Authority Abdel Rahim Mostafa said that 300 vehicles and 22 buses have also arrived at the port, while 220 cars and 22 buses left the port during four days.
The port is in the coastal town of Nuweiba in the eastern part of Sinai Peninsula. It is located on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba.It serves travelers and trade with Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Between the town and the port are a
strip of modern hotels, catering to beach holiday makers and divers.
