
A recent poll conducted by Kuwait's Al Anba newspaper revealed that 52 % of the Kuwaiti citizens said that intelligence services have created Daesh, while 46 % said that Daesh is a terrorist group.
While only 2% said that Daesh group have an Islamic project which aims to restore the Muslim caliphate.
The poll, which included 300 respondents, was published by the newspaper on Wednesday.
According to the poll, 63% of respondents answered "yes" when asked whether Daesh is affiliated to al Qaeda group or not.
The poll also showed that 37% of respondents said that Daesh is not affiliated to al Qaeda group.
When asked about the reason behind targeting the region, 90% of respondents said that Daesh main aim is to tarnish the image of Islam.
