
A leading figure in the Islamic State and two of his aides were killed in air bombing targeted the headquarters of the organization northeast of Baquba, capital of Diyala province.
A security source told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The media official of the organization and two of his aides were killed due to air bombing targeting the secret headquarters of the organization in the western suburbs of Jalawla northeast of Baquba."
He added: "The Peshmerga forces seized control of the three entrances leading to Jalawla after violent clashes with militants of the (IS)" adding that "the Peshmerga forces imposed a blockade on Jalawla and managed to cut supply routes to Islamic State (IS) .
