Abbas hails international recognition of Palestine

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas hailed on Tuesday the international recognition of a Palestinian state.
Abbas made the statement during a press conference held in Algeria today.
"Our policy managed to isolate Israel," he said, adding that the European countries' recognition of a Palestine state will contribute to achieving the desirable goal, i.e. the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He also thanked all countries and parliaments which recognized a Palestinian state.
