
The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, has organised the first Customer Service Forum for 2015 under the slogan "We Thrive by Ensuring Your Happiness" at the Emirates Institute for Citizenship, Residency and Ports.
The Forum was attended by Colonel Yussef Ismail Al Khouri, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi; Colonel Saeed Balhass Al Shamesi, Head of Information and Follow-up Department; alongside a number of officers, customers and representatives of different companies and institutions.
Colonel Al Khouri emphasised that customer satisfaction is a strategic goal that the department seeks to achieve by implementing the best policies and procedures, and improving the various services offered to the public. He also stressed the department's keen interest to organise such forums, with the aim of reinforcing partnerships and relations with the people it serves, and exchange views on the provided services.
Captain Yusuf Al Hammadi, Acting Officer of Customer Service, gave an overview of the Customer Service Charter, which is a binding document that sets the standards for the provision of quality services in order to provide 7-star Rating government services.
For his part, Lieutenant Mohamed Saeed Al Kaabi, Acting Chief of the Media and Public Relations Section, acquainted customers attending the forum with the appropriate channels to communicate with the Department.
Towards the end of the Forum, distinguished representatives of companies and institutions were honoured and granted certificates of thanks and appreciation.
