Al Ajam Grand Community Centre in Bahrain has strongly denounced the Iranian interference in the kingdom's internal affairs, saying it contravenes the principles of good neighbourliness and stressing it is rejected by all international conventions and covenants.
In a statement issued today, it affirmed that Bahrain has always been the state of institutions and law, praising the prosperous era and the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa as well as his reforms.
It voiced categorical rejection of the use of religious rostrum for political ends, describing it as a deviation off the national progress at a time of urgent need for concerted efforts and joint work to boost the values of tolerance and cohesion between all components of the Bahraini society. The statement also underscored the rule of the law and its enforcement on anyone who jeopardises national security.
It also emphasised the need for unity among all Bahraini people in confronting violence and supporting civil peace and social fabric.
"We strongly stand behind our leadership, supporting all measures taken to maintain national security and safety. Bahrain is a country for all and has to remain as such," the statement said.
