
Al Azhar Undersecretary Abbas Shoman met Thursday with Thailand's Ambassador here.
The two sides discussed means of enhancing joint educational cooperation via joining the Thia students to Al Azhar faculties.
During the meeting, Shoman underlined that Al Azhar Grand Imam Shiekh Ahmed el Tayyeb pays attention to the foreign students, adding that he appointed representatives to finalize the measures of those students in the passports authority to alleviate their suffering.
Shoman told the ambassador also that a center for educating the Arabic language will be established to teach the Asians including the Thais.
For his part, the Thai ambassador said that Al Azhar is a great Islamic edifice that is respected by the people of Thailand.
