
President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir said Sudan will continue to be model in boosting values of religious tolerance and social solidarity between all components of the Sudanese community.
Addressing the annual Ramadan banquet organized by the Coptic Church in Khartoum Saturday, President Al-Bashir described the Banquet as a good step and a message from Sudan to the unstable World
President Al-Bashir, meanwhile, affirmed support of the Sudanese people with its racial and religious components to people of Gaza who have been subjected to heinous aggression from outsiders.
He hailed the steadfastness of the people of Palestine , saying we are Muslims and Christians, looking forward for the day in which all Islamic and Christian sacred places liberated from the enemies.
Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Al-Fatih Tajal-Sir underscored that organizing the Ramadan banquet by Coptic Church represents a national occasion which reflects spirit of solidarity and sound community, stressing that the Ministry will continue in supporting all religious institutions.
Bishop of Khartoum Church, on his part, said the annual Ramadan Banquet reflects spirit of tolerance regardless of color, race , religion or culture, disclosing that unity, peace and love are values which unify the people.
