Al-Nusra Front claimed responsibility for the bombing of a bus carrying a number of Lebanese citizens in the Syrian capital, Damascus, killing and injuring several people.
Al-Qaeda-affiliate Al-Nusra Front claimed responsibility, through its social media accounts, over the bombing of the bus near the entrance of Hamidiya market in Damascus.
Syria Mubasher and Shaam News Network said Abulezz Al-Ansari detonated the explosives he was wearing at the bus.
The Lebanese citizens inside the bus were visiting Syria to visit religious sites, they added.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said nine people were killed in the attack, while the official Syrian SANA news agency put the number at six.
