
Mariam bint Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs, has led the UAE delegation to the second GCC Ministerial Committee of Labour and Social Affairs, which was being held in Doha, Qatar yesterday.
The event is organised by the Qatari Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, in its capacity as a Chair of the current session, from 6th to 8th of September.
The UAE delegation includes in its membership Naji Al Hai, Acting Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, and a number of senior officials at the Ministry.
The Ministers will discuss decisions of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the field of social affairs and labour, as well as topics related to the GCC joint action in the social and labour sector.
