Algeria strongly condemned on Saturday the heinous crime of burning a Palestinian infant alive, committed by extremist settlers in the West Bank.
Algerian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Abdul Aziz Ben Ali Sharif called on the international community to take an urgent action to protect the Palestinians and make an end to such crimes.
Such awful crime is among a series of systematic violations that target the unarmed Palestinians in the occupied territories, the spokesman said.
Sharif reiterated his country's full support for the Palestinian issue and the Palestinians' right to establishing their independent state.
On Friday morning, extremist Israeli settlers torched two houses in Duma village near Nablus, killing 18-month-old baby Ali Dawabsheh and severely wounding his family.
