
Algeria has strongly condemned the execution of Jordanian pilot Moaz Kassasbeh by Daesh militant group as a "barbaric act".
"The odious crime, perpetrated by Daesh against Jordanian pilot Moaz Kassasbeh, is a barbaric terrorist act that we vigorously condemn," said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdelaziz Benali-Cherif, in a statement to APS.
"By this act, the terrorists have reached an unprecedented degree of barbarity," he said, calling on the international community to "join forces" against terrorism.
