
Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika entrusted Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra to represent him at the summit of the Committee of Ten Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) on the reform of United Nations Security Council to be held Saturday in Zambia, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday in a statement, according to Algeria Press Service.
The summit of the Committee of Ten will make an interim evaluation of the ongoing process to reform the Security Council in the light of the intergovernmental consultations in anticipation of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations organization.
