Algeria will participate in the launch of the event commemorating the centenary anniversary of the First World War in Paris (France) in the same format and conditions as those of the 80 other invited nations, said Monday the spokesman of Foreign Affairs Ministry Abdelaziz Benali Cherif.
In a reply to question about the format of the Algerian participation in the launch of the event commemorating the centenary anniversary of the First World War, Benali Cherif said that Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra underlined that “Algeria’s participation in this event will be in the same format and conditions as those of the 80 other invited nations.”
“This participation will consist of three standard bearers and official guards as well as two young girls and two young men,” said Benali Cherif, adding that “a member of the government will also be present in this event.”
