Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal said Thursday in Malabo that the best investment was in recovering security.
"The security issue has become very important these days and the best investment is recovering security," said Sellal in a statement after his meeting with Tunisian President Mohamed Moncef Marzouki on the sidelines of the 23rd Ordinary Summit of the AU Malabo (Equatorial Guinea).
"We need stability above all," said the Prime Minister, who added that he broached with the Tunisian president security issues in the Sahel, Nigeria and Iraq and the return of Egypt within the AU.
Regarding the situation in Libya, Sellal emphasized the need for neighboring countries to intensify their efforts in coordination with Libya with the UN, Europe and the United States to reach a solution to this issue, stating in this context that the "solution must come from the willingness of Libyans with the cooperation with neighboring states. "
Referring to bilateral relations between Algeria and Tunisia, Sellal said that they should continue and increase in the future as the security of Tunisia is the security of Algeria and vice versa. "
