
Boosting local development dynamics will be at the centre of the meeting which will bring together Prime Minister Abdelmalek sellal and walis (governors) on Saturday in Algiers.
The meeting is in line with the directives of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika during the Council of Ministers meeting on 22 July.
It will focus particularly on the sectors of agriculture, tourism, industry and mining, town planning and public service.
Reports will be presented by ministers of the involved sectors, namely Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries Sid Ahmed Ferroukhi, Minister of National Planning, Tourism and Craft Industry Amar Ghoul, Minister of Industry and Mining Abdesselam Bouchouareb, Minister of Finance Abderahmane Benkhelfa and Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Sellal's meeting with the 48 walis and 17 deputy walis, recently appointed, will also focus on the new measures relating to investment provided for by the Finance Act and aiming to boost national economy.
