Allawi highlights importance of national reconciliation to end war in the country

Iraqi Vice President, in charge of the national reconciliation file, Iyad Allawi asserted the importance of achieving national reconciliation to end the war and tensions in the country.
In statements to SkyNews satellite TV, Allawi voiced confidence over Iraq's ability to deter terrorism without any foreign interference.
The Iraqi official accused countries in the region, including Iran, of standing behind the impeding of a national reconciliation in the country.
He sounded the alarm over not reaching a national reconciliation, a matter which would widen the circle of war and violence in the country.
