Ambassador Azzam hails Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled's visit to Bahrain

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah said on Friday that First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah's visit to Bahrain succeeded in opening new horizons of bilateral ties.
The visit succeeded in strengthening the brotherly relations and promoting new domains of bilateral cooperation as well as enhancing the Gulf march, Ambassador Azzam, also Dean of Diplomatic Corp in Bahrain, said in a press statement here on Friday.
The Kuwaiti-Bahraini joint committee ministerial meeting hosted by Bahrain last Wednesday aimed at following up the resolutions taken by the previous gathering of the committee that served the common interest of the two countries, he noted.
Ambassador Azzam emphasized that the ministerial meeting supported the march of cooperation and integration between the two states.
The Kuwaiti-Bahraini joint committee ministerial meeting was held in Bahrain under the chairmanship of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled AL-Hamad Al-Sabah and Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad bin Mohammad Al Khalifa.
Kuwait and Bahrain in the meeting signed three memos of understanding for bilateral cooperation in the fields of youth, sports, social security and higher education.
