A series of workshops on combating corruption and financial disclosures were concluded on Thursday.
The five-day workshops were organized by the Public Anti-Corruption Authority.
The Authority's Assistant Secretary General Salem Al-Ali told KUNA that the workshops tackled in particular the financial status of senior personnel in the public sector as stipulated by the law No. 24 of 2012.
They discussed financial disclosures by directors of government departments, authorities and establishments, members of boards, deputies, assistants, and those who serve in key posts in companies where the state has stakes, at a rate more than 25 percent of the capital.
