War jets of the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen bombed anew the headquarters of the 35th Armored Brigade in Taiz in southwestern Yemen on Thursday, local sources reported.
The brigade, which is loyal to the Yemeni government, fell to the hands of Houthis on Wednesday hours after Saudi Arabia announced an end to the nearly-month-long Operation Decisive Storm and the start of a new phase of operations dubbed "Renewal of Hope" to protect civilians and combat terrorism.
The air strikes targeted the positions of Houthis in the brigade headquarters and the arms warehouses.
Casualties and damage were reported as a result of the bombing.
