Permanent delegates at the Arab League are set to convene here on Tuesday to discuss the current situation in Libya, with Secretary-General Nabil Al-Araby and his special envoy on Libya Nasser Al-Qudwa to be attending.
The meeting comes in response to a request made by the chief of the Arab League during a recent emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo to assess the latest developments in this North African nation, a league source said.
Al-Araby was quoted as stressing the significance of this meeting for consolations among all Arab countries on ongoing efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis.
