
Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad left here on Sunday for Iraq, leading an Arab delegation on a visit to Iraq.
The delegation includes Arab League Secretary General Nabil El-Arabi, Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ahmed Ould Teguedi, whose country is currently chairing the current session of the Arab League Council.
The visit comes in implementation of the Arab League Council decisions affirming the Arab solidarity with the Iraqi government and people in standing against terrorism.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with Iraqi President Fouad Al-Masoum, Iraqi Prime Minister Hayder Abadi and Iraqi Speaker Selim Al-Gabouri, Deputy Premier Hoshiar Zebari, Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Gaafari and other senior officials
