
Arab Foreign Ministers delegation, headed by Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, held talks in Mogadishu with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud over the latest developments in Somalia.
Arab delegation's visit is meant to show Arab solidarity and support to the Somali government's effort restore security and stability in the country.
The Arab delegation included Mauritania's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ahmed Ould Teguedi, Arab Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby, several Arab League's General Secretariat, Kuwaiti and Mauritanian officials.
Kuwait is the president of the current 25th Arab Summit, and Mauritania chairs the present session of the Arab League Council.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, Speaker of the Federal Parliament Mohamed Osman Jawari and a number of cabinet members.
