
The Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Nabil el Araby called on the Arab countries to unite against the Iranian interference in their internal affairs.
This remark came in el Araby's speech which he delivered during the urgent meeting of the AL at the level of Arab foreign ministers in the AL headquarters under the UAE.
He stressed on the Arab support to Saudi Arabia to preserve its security and sovereignty.
Iran has to remove the tension with the Arab nations according to the rules of the international law and the United Nations (UN), he underlined.
The AL chief further reiterated that holding this meeting comes amid dangerous tensions that threat the national security of the region, adding that the Arab countries stress its solidarity with Saudi Arabia which embassy in Tehran and consulate in Mashhad were attacked.
This offensive contradicts the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations, he said.
