
Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Araby has left for Kuwait on a three-day visit to check on preparations and arrangements for an Arab summit due in Kuwait on March 25-26.Speaking to reporters at Cairo airport, he said he will meet His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the agenda of the summit.On Geneva II Conference on Syria, he said he had received a telephone call from UN-Arab League Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Barahimi on the outcomes of ongoing talks.He quoted Brahimi as voicing regret that no progress was made in Geneva talks aiming to find a solution to the Syrian crisis.
