
The Arab League Council has slammed the killing of an Egyptian doctor and the abduction of 13 Egyptians nationals in Libya by armed militants.
In a keynote speech during the council's meeting on Monday, AL chief Nabil el Araby voiced regret over such incidents and warned of the ongoing violence in Libya.
He called for taking a decisive stance to resolve the Libyan crisis.
He called on parties concerned in Libya to engage into national dialogue to bring an end to the political instability in the country.
An Egyptian Coptic doctor working in Libya was killed along his wife and daughter. Thirteen Coptic workers were taken hostage by gunmen in Sirte but were reportedly released a few days later.
