The Arab League (AL)'s Envoy to Sudan Salah Halima on Monday urged western countries and the US to review their stances on some Sudanese political and economic issues and files.
While many regional organizations and world countries agreed to send observers to monitor the Sudanese elections , currently being held, several western countries, including the US have adopted a strange stance towards the polls by doubting the credibility of these polls, Halima said in exclusive statements to MENA.
If such western countries assessed the current situation in Sudan correctly and put into consideration pro-Arab and Africa countries, they would undoubtedly change their positions that are based on prior findings and reports, he added.
The Sudanese halted national dialogue is linked to the four-tracks negotiations held in Addis Ababa, he asserted.
He added that the resumption of the national dialogue is the best way to handle Sudanese issues, asserting that this dialogue should be attended by all political power and parties including the opposition and armed movements which took an attitude that had a negative impact on the dialogue.
