
Secretary General of Arab League (AL) Nabil El-Araby confirmed on Sunday the continuation of the Arab League's support for Yemen during the transition stage.
During his meeting in Cairo with Minister of Human Rights Ezzedine al-Asbahi, El-Araby stressed the need for the full implementation of the Peace and National Partnership Agreement and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the GCC Initiative, which all constitute the real basis for a stable and prosperous Yemen.
El-Araby said that the arrangements are underway for the visit of a delegation from the Arab League to Yemen to see the reality of the situation in the country.
Al-Asbahi briefed El-Arabi, during the meeting, on the latest developments in Yemen and the exerted efforts to overcome the challenges and difficulties facing the country and to complete the transitional phase.
The meeting also dealt with the efforts aiming at activating the joint Arab action in the field of human rights and the Arab charters, especially with regard to the Arab Court of Justice.
