The Arab League General Secretariat concluded on Thursday the first training session entitled ''Language Skills for Diplomats'', as part of the league's annual training program.
It involved 22 participants from the general secretariat and Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen.
In statements, the AL Assistant Secretary-General Adnan Khudair said the session helped diplomats acquire the skills of writing accurately, with no grammatical or structural mistakes. It also enhanced their skills of reading, summarizing, editing and writing diplomatic reports in Arabic.
Khudair called for using the skills acquired during the course in the daily activities, wishing success to all the course's participants.
