Arab league welcomes Greece's recognition of Palestinian state

Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby on Wednesday welcomed the Greek Parliament's recognition of the Palestinians state.
In a statement, the AL chief hailed the diplomatic efforts made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, saying these efforts contribute to reaching that step.
El Araby called on other states to follow in the footsteps of the countries that acknowledged the Palestinian state and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
