Matrouh security forces foiled late on Sunday an attempt by 99 people to infiltrate into Libya.
The infiltrators included ten Sudanese and the rest from different Egyptian governorates.
Preparations are underway to refer the arrestees to the prosecution over charges of trying to illegally leave the country.
