
Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa on Saturday met with heads of Egypt's hajj missions to follow up the conditions of Egyptian pilgrims after the Mina stampede.
During the meeting, Gomaa was briefed on the latest developments in the conditions of the injured.
Gomaa told MENA that he will announce the last toll of the Egyptian causalities from the accident later in the day.
As many as 717 pilgrims died and at least 863 others were injured on Thursday when a stampede broke out in the tent city of Mina during a Hajj pilgrimage ritual.
Fourteen Egyptian pilgrims have died and 31 others injured in the stampede
