Egypt's Al-Azhar has strongly condemned the attack by Zionist troops on worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The top religious institution was also irritated by the repeated infiltration by Jewish groups into the halls of the mosque and under the protection of Israeli police.
In a statement Tuesday, Al-Azhar warned that such atrocities will add fuel to the fire in the occupied Palestinian lands, stressing aggressive practices provoke the sentiments of Muslims all over the globe and hinder efforts to solve the Palestinian problem.
Al-Azhar called on international organizations and human rights groups to take firm measures to stop the repeated Israeli attacks.
