Azhar: Daesh is Khawarij, aggressors, rulers must fight

Al-Azhar has slammed the terrorist Daesh group, describing the group as Khawarij and aggressors.
Azhar, one of the most prestigious centers of Sunni Islam learning, has called on the rulers to fight against Daesh, said a statement on Tuesday.
The calls by Daesh on the Muslim youths to join its ranks are misguiding and misleading, the statement said.
Such campaigns aim at undermining the security and stability of the Islamic nations.
Azhar called on the Muslim youths not to be deceived by such calls.
Azhar urged all Muslims, Islamic organizations and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to unify their ranks and fight this imminent danger which threatens the security of the nation.
