
Al Azhar has strongly condemned an attack on the Niger Embassy in Cairo, which left one conscript dead and two others injured.
In a statement on Wednesday, Al Azhar said that such terrorist acts are increasing nowadays due to Egypt's success in finalizing the New Suez Canal project, which will increase the world's confidence in Egypt and its ability to attain progress.
A policeman was killed and two others were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire at security forces outside the Niger Embassy in Cairo.
Assailants in a private vehicle drove by and shot at them at around 1 am.
