Al Azhar stands fully ready to receive students from the Comoros Islands to study in the faculties of medicine, engineering and pharmacy, he added during his meeting Monday with Comoros Ambassador to Egypt Jaafar Abdullah.
He further said that Al Azhar is ready to train Comoros preachers to confront all deviant and extremist currents.
The Comoros ambassador, for his part, voiced his country's appreciation to Al Azhar's role and efforts in disseminating moderate thought.
