General Director of Traffic, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, today asserted that all comments of citizens, residents and columnists on the newly implemented traffic law are welcome.
He said that the law will be implemented on all people without exceptions, because traffic safety is a joint responsibility and won’t be achieved without commitment to traffic rules and cooperation between traffic police and road users.
He called upon all those who claim that traffic fines could be cancelled to provide evidences and specific cases to take the required legal procedures.
He asserted that the department will continue implementing the law to achieve the setting goals, mainly protection of lives, property and traffic safety.
He urged local press to enhance awareness among citizens and residents to promote traffic safety efforts.
